Privacy policy

What we store

For each chart you render: the chart specification you sent (including your numbers and labels), the rendered image, and the metadata around it — type, theme, size, format, when it was made, and what it cost. Nothing else about the request is kept.

For your account: we read your identity from your Ounie account (email, name, plan) and never write to it. Sign-in happens at signin.ounie.com; we only read the shared session cookie. API keys are stored as a sha256 hash — the token itself is shown once at mint time and never stored.

Why we store it

The specification is kept so a chart can be read back, redrawn, and shown to you in your library, and so a support question about a chart can be answered. The image is kept so its URL keeps working. The credit metadata is kept so billing is auditable.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your numbers to train models. There is no third-party rendering provider — charts are drawn on our own infrastructure — so your data is not sent anywhere to produce the image.

Where it lives

Chart records live in a private schema of Ounie's shared Postgres database, on Neon. Rendered images live in private S3 storage and are served only through URLs signed for 24 hours; the objects are not publicly readable. Credits are recorded in the shared Ounie wallet and ledger.

How long

Charts stay until you delete them — deletion removes both the record and the stored image immediately. Charts rendered through the keyless x402 rail have no owner and no way to be listed or re-signed, so they are swept 30 days after creation. Deleting your Ounie account removes your charts with it.

Cookies

One: the shared .ounie.com session cookie that signs you in. There is no analytics cookie and no third-party tracker on this site.

Your rights

Export, correction, and deletion requests are handled through your Ounie account, or by contacting us. We answer within 30 days.
